Anti Pollen Filter Set

Particles that transmit through the air, like pollen of grasses and trees, agricultural dust, stone dust and particles from woodstoves, enter into the respiratory system. There they can cause irritation and even trigger allergic reactions. People with allergies like hay fever suffer in particular. When opening a window, or ventilating without filtering the air, a large number of particles will gather in indoor air. This makes it hard for people who suffer from allergies to relax. To overcome this problem, the Anti Pollen Filter in this filter set filters out these particles from the fresh outdoor air, before it reaches your living areas. This results in better indoor air quality which enable you to concentrate, perform and sleep better. In addition, the Anti Pollen Filter Set contains a System Protection Filter. This filter prevents dirt in the extracted indoor air from accumulating in your Zehnder ComfoD/Air 300-550, WHR 930-960, and ComfoAir Standard ventilation unit. This extends the lifespan of your system and keeps the unit quiet, and lowers energy consumption.

150-180 days of protection

This filter set protects you and your ventilation system for about 5-6 months. The pleated design enhances surface area, capturing more airborne particles and increasing the life span of the filter. After this period, the filter inlays are saturated and should be replaced. The filter frames from the Starter Pack can be reused. By maintaining your ventilation system properly, you make sure your home is adequately ventilated and has clean air coming in. One way of doing this is by replacing the filters inlays in the ventilation unit at least two times a year, and by using high-quality filters. Filters that are more finely woven can filter out more fine particles. This makes your indoor air cleaner and healthier compared to the use of coarse filters. This also means that the filters are saturated more easily and you’ll have to replace them sooner (after about 5-6 months).

Technical information

This filter set consists of:

• 1x Anti Pollen Filter (inlay): This is also known as ePM10 50% (ISO 16890) or M5 (EN 779:2012). At least 50% of particles between 0.3 and 2.5 µm are removed from the air.
• 1x System Protection Filter (inlay). This is also known as Coarse G4 Filters, 60% (ISO 16890): At least 60% of particles larger than 10 microns are removed from the air.

Season change, your filters should too

At Zehnder we want everyone to be able to breathe freely at home. Therefore, we offer a wide range of filter sets. The filter frames that come with the Starter Pack can be reused. In addition, they fit a number of other Zehnder ventilation systems. Original filters guarantee efficient operation of the system and ensure a longer lifespan. The ventilation unit uses less power with original filters than it does with non-original filters.
