Switch the unit to standby mode
Use the control panel: press the (–) button until the unit goes into standby mode.
→ The fans will stop running. -
Open the filter covers
Push the two filter covers upwards and then fold them forward to access the filter compartments. -
Remove the old filters
Carefully pull out the old filters by their tabs and dispose of them properly. -
Insert the new filters
- Pay close attention to the arrow markings on the filters:
- Upper slot: Insert the ISO Coarse filter with the arrow pointing downwards.
- Lower slot: Insert the ISO Coarse filter (or optional ISO ePM1 filter) with the arrow pointing upwards.
- ⚠️ Only use Zehnder original filters to ensure proper performance and to avoid contamination or damage.
- Pay close attention to the arrow markings on the filters:

Close the filter covers
Fold the covers back upwards and slide them down until they lock securely in place. -
Switch the unit back on
Restart the device by pressing the (+) button.
Then select the desired fan speed or, if available, enable automatic operation via the sensor module. -
Reset the filter maintenance indicator
Press and hold the (+) and (–) buttons simultaneously for about 3 seconds
→ The red filter maintenance LED will turn off (new cycle ~90 days).
