Do you want to make sure your home is adequately ventilated and clean air is coming in? Then it is important to maintain your ventilation system properly. One way of doing so is by replacing the filters in the ventilation unit at least three times a year and by using high-quality filters. This filter set serves two purposes. First of all, the Hygiene Filter ensures healthy, clean indoor air by filtering out small particles such as pollen, (fine) dust, mould and even bacteria from the fresh outdoor air before it reaches your living areas. It’s important to install this filter on the side where your ventilation unit draws in fresh outdoor air.
In addition, the System Protection Filter (included in this filter set) prevents dirt in the extracted indoor air from accumulating in your ComfoAir 350-550 ventilation unit. This extends the lifespan of your system and keeps the unit quiet, and lowers energy consumption.
90-120 days of protection
This filter set protects you and your ventilation system for around three to six months. The pleated design enhances surface area, capturing more airborne particles and increasing the life span of the filter. After this period, the filters are saturated and should be replaced.
Technical information
This filter set consists of:
- 1x Hygiene Filter: This is also known as ePM1 F7, 50% (ISO 16890). At least 50% of particles between 0.3 and 1.0 µm are removed from the air.
- 1x System Protection Filter. This is also known as Coarse G4 Filters, 60% (ISO 16890): At least 60% of particles larger than 10 microns are removed from the air.
